Welcome to my art world.

I live beside the Indian Ocean in beautiful Western Australia with a passion to interpret my environment in a painterly technique using Soft Pastels, Charcoal for drawing and Oils for painting. Grasses are my speciality in local landscapes, free in style and vibrant in colour. 

I paint in a semi-impressionist manner …nature, light, texture... Sunlit scapes with the earth and rocks of the unique northern Kimberly area beckon me to apply colour.

Having grown up in a country town, landscapes are in my heart, but my art practice also involves seascapes, portraits, still life and commissioned works.  Whilst basically a studio artist, I ‘dabble’ in Plein Air, and teach Soft Pastels and Oils in classes, demonstrations and workshops. My artworks have been collected Internationally, and commissioned works have been published in opulent coffee table books. Being a traveller and keen photographer life is full of images which need to be painted!

Each painting on this site is an original and copyright applies. Should you like to purchase one please enquire … If it has been sold, I will work with you and create a new one! Each with unique individuality. Pricing will be agreed prior according to materials and size etc. All paintings will be delivered unframed with any specific requirements. You can then choose what suits your walls in framing.

My works sell depending on size and medium from AUD$500 each.
